Ortho Adapt® is AOR's special anti-stress formula, containing adrenal gland extract, adaptogenic plants like ashwagandha, rhodiola, licorice, and Siberian ginseng, as well as vitamins C and B5. Ingredients
Medicinal ingredients (per 4 capsules): Porcine adrenal cortex 500 mg, Vitamin C 500 mg, B5 (pantothenic acid, pantethine, D-calcium pantothenate) 200 mg, Glycyrrhiza glabra (5:1 licorice extract) 800 mg, Eleutherococcus senticosus (9-15:1 Siberian ginseng extract) 200 mg, Rhodiola rosea extract (1-6% rosavin, 0.8-3% salidroside) 150 mg, Withania somnifera (10:1 ashwagandha extract) 200 mg.
Non-medicinal ingredients: Microcrystalline cellulose, sodium stearyl fumarate, silicon dioxide. Capsule: hypromellose, carrot root powder.
Suggested use
Adult dosage: Take 2-4 capsules daily after a meal or as recommended by a healthcare professional. Consult a healthcare professional for use beyond one month. Do not open the capsules; this could compromise the stability of the medicinal ingredients.
Cautions & warnings
Consult a healthcare professional before using this product if you are taking antidepressants, contraceptives, undergoing hormone replacement therapy (HRT), are pregnant, breastfeeding, or suffer from an acute infection or liver disorders. Consult a healthcare professional if symptoms persist or worsen. Headaches, mild gastrointestinal issues (nausea), heart palpitations, or hyperactivity/insomnia may occur. Do not use if you are taking thiazide diuretics, cardiotonic glycosides, corticosteroids, laxatives, or any other medication that may cause electrolyte imbalance or if you suffer from hypokalemia, high blood pressure, cardiovascular or kidney disorders, or bipolar spectrum disorders. This product contains ingredients derived from pork. The consumption of alcohol, other drugs, or natural health products with sedative properties is not recommended.
