Summary

Preferred Nutrition Beetroot contains a great-tasting beetroot extract in powder format to help maintain cardiovascular health and healthy blood flow. Each scoop provides 5 g of extract, standardized to 2% nitrates, that naturally supports nitric oxide (a vasodilator) levels in the bloodstream and provides antioxidants. The delicious, berry-flavoured powder is non-GMO, gluten-free, and vegan.

Ingredients

Each serving (approx. 6.5 g) contains: 

SabeetTM Beetroot Extract 10:1 (Beta vulgaris) (root) (2% nitrates) 5 g

Non-medicinal ingredients: Sunflower lecithin, citric acid, natural flavour, L-malic acid, medium chain triglycerides, Oryza sativa (rice) hull powder, purified stevia leaf extract, silica.

This product does not contain artificial preservatives, colours, or sweeteners; no dairy, wheat, gluten, yeast, soy, egg, fish, shellfish, animal products, salt, tree nuts, or genetically modified genes or proteins. Suitable for vegetarians/vegans.

Suggested Use

Adult dose: 1 scoop (approx. 6.5 g) daily in 250 mL of water (or other liquid) or as directed by a health care practitioner. Consult a health care practitioner for use beyond 3 weeks. Stir until smooth or use a shaker cup or blender. Do not leave the container open as powder may take on moisture and may harden.

Cautions & warnings

Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you have a cardiovascular disease, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or are following a diet rich in nitrates. Stop use and consult a health care practitioner if the following symptoms appear: weakness, confusion, headache, difficulty breathing and/or pale, grey, or blue coloured skin. These symptoms may be signs of methemoglobinemia, a rare disorder, which may appear up to 2 hours after use. Consult a health care practitioner prior to using this product if you are taking any prescription medication (e.g., for cardiovascular diseases, erectile dysfunction, and/or blood thinners).
