Summary
Curcumin is a compound derived from turmeric (Curcuma longa), a spice commonly used in traditional diets. It is known for its antioxidant properties and has been widely studied for its role in supporting overall health.
Curcumin is naturally poorly absorbed, rapidly metabolized, and quickly eliminated from the body. This has led to the development of advanced delivery systems to improve its bioavailability.
Curcumin Ultra™ combines free-form curcuminoids (CurQfen®) with water-soluble turmeric polysaccharides (Turmacin®) in a formulation designed to support absorption and provide a broad-spectrum turmeric profile.
