Summary
New Root's shiitake (Lentinula edodes) extract is standardized to 40% polysaccharides, including lentinan, which stimulates white blood–cell production. Sustainably grown in climate-controlled greenhouses, the shiitake mushrooms are further standardized to 40% polysaccharides. Each capsule contains 300 mg of shiitake extract, hot water–extracted to ensure the release of therapeutic components.
Ingredients
Each vegetable capsule contains:
- Shiitake (Lentinula edodes) mushroom extract, standardized to 40% polysaccharides providing 25% beta-glucans: 300 mg
- Hot-water extraction
Other ingredients: Vegetable magnesium stearate in a non-GMO vegetable capsule composed of vegetable carbohydrate gum and purified water.
Suggested use
Adults: Take 1 capsule three times daily with food or as directed by your health-care practitioner.
Cautions & warnings
Consult a health-care practitioner prior to use if you are taking blood thinners. Hypersensitivity/allergy can occur with shiitake supplements; discontinue use if this occurs.
